Project Moksh
VELOPILGRIM is proud to present Project MOKSH. Moksh is VELOPILGRIM's modern take of a classic, steel road bike - light & comfortable, elegant & enduring. Project Moksh is the result of a 5 year labor of love.

STEEL
This bike's frameset is made from a selection of thin walled, chrome-molybdenum steel, from high end Italian manufacturers: Colombus for the front triangle and Dedacciai for the rear. Other frame parts are sourced from the UK. The frameset includes the frame, a custom Colombus steel fork and an elegant steel stem. The frameset is hand mitered and brass brazed, the traditional way.

RIDE & HANDLING
Matching a custom fork with each frame helps MOKSH achieve intuitive handling and a comfortable ride - unlike most carbon forks. And this is irrespective of the frame size or the height and weight of the rider. A thin steel fork also means better vertical compliance on broken roads. MOKSH has a longer wheelbase than most road bikes. Join all these dots to get a very comfortable and stable endurance bike that's also responsive in the corners.

GEOMETRY
Each MOKSH rider gets a custom fit. But in terms of geometry, MOKSH comes with a short reach and a tall stack. It also gets a slightly longer chain stays and front center - meaning ample toe clearance. There is tire clearance for 700 x 28c (customizable up to 32c) Additionally, the crank-arm lengths & handlebar widths are customizable. So we are talking increased comfort at all contact points. We've designed MOKSH to be the most comfortable road bike whether you are on a weekend century or a grueling Bangalore Randonneurs LRM or a fast Kanyakumari to Kashmir Ride.

TIME LINE
There are 8 to 10 complete bikes planned for 2026. Why so less, you might ask?
VELOPILGRIM is trying to bring in quality and customization in every bike. And considering the MOKSH, is a hand-built frameset, lovingly crafted by an artisanal builder, and custom fit for each rider, each MOKSH build, takes around 45 days on an average to create unlike other mass manufactured frames. Because when you make anything with love and care, it takes time.
